HAIDA KHAN TEMPLE, established by Shri Hairakhan Maharaj, is a 15-minute trek from the resort and offers a magnificent view of the valley and Himalayas.

ARMED FORCES MUSEUM, a few kilometres away, is maintained by the Kumaon and Naga regiments and displays a vast collection of weapons and flags captured during various wars. The Rama Mandir Temple, situated near the Jhula Devi Temple, is dedicated to Lord Rama and has a monastery where students are taught ancient Vedas and mathematics.

GOLF COURSE, situated 6 km from Ranikhet, is known for being one of the most challenging courses in the world and is open to the public on payment of a small fee.

JHULA DEVI TEMPLE, located near Chaubatia, about 7 km from Ranikhet, has a peaceful environment and popularity evident from the number of bells hanging over its walls.

SUN TEMPLE (KATARMAL), an ancient temple approximately 800 years old, is located approximately 8 km from Ranikhet and is known for its exquisite architectural pattern and incredible stone carvings.

TARIKHET (KATARMAL), located approximately 8 km from Ranikhet, is a verdant, exotic village that finds a place in history for participating in the Indian freedom struggle.

CHAUBATIA GARDENS, located around 10 km from Ranikhet, is famous for its apricot, peach, chestnut, and apple orchards and offers picturesque views of the snow-capped Himalayas.

BINSAR MAHADEV, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, is only 15 km away from the main township of Ranikhet.

SITLAKHET, situated approximately 25 km from Ranikhet, is a scenic spot with a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges.

KHOONT, known for being the birthplace of the famous freedom fighter Govind Vallabh Pant, is about 30 km from Ranikhet. If you are interested in learning about the threads associated with the freedom struggle, Khoont is definitely worth a visit.

DWARAHAT, an ancient historic site located about 38 km from Ranikhet on the Ranikhet – Karnaprayag Road, was once the capital of the Katyuri Kingdom and is famous for its ancient temples.

KAINCHI DHAM, located 38 km away, can be reached in just over an hour. It is home to a holy Hanuman temple and Ashram established by the revered saint Shri Neem Karoli Baba in the 1960s. Hills, trees, and a flowing river surround the temple.

ALMORA is a cultural city 46 km away with a rich history and cultural heritage. Adding to the colours of nature is the colourful culture of Almora and people with rosy cheeks dressed in colourful attires.

DUNAGIRI, 48 km away, has a rich history of Indian sages who established their ashrams amidst the natural surroundings. According to local tradition, Garg Muni’s ashram was located in Dunagiri, and the river Gagas was named after him. Sukhdev Muni, son of sage Ved Vyasa, also had his ashram here, now known as “Sukh Devi.”

KASAR DEVI TEMPLE, 57 km from the resort, is a couple of hours’ drive away. Founded in the 2nd century CE, the temple honours Kasar Devi. Located on the famed ‘hippie trail’ from the 60’s for spiritual seekers from the West, it hosts an annual fair during Kartik Poornima. The temple is believed to be located on Earth’s Van Allen Belt.

NAINITAL, a picturesque hill station 58 km away, is known for its stunning lake surrounded by hills, lush forests, and pleasant weather. Visitors can enjoy adventure activities like trekking, boating, and rock climbing and explore the town’s charming markets and temples.

BHIMTAL, a city on a lake, is named after Bhima, the charismatic character from the Mahabharata. Well-known for its aesthetic beauty, Bhimtal is located at an altitude of 1,370 meters above sea level and is just a two-hour drive from Ranikhet, 58 km away.

BINSAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY, located about 60 km from Ranikhet, is a quiet and wild Himalayan destination with rich natural surroundings.

MAHAVATAR BABAJI’S CAVE, 61 km away, is a two-hour drive to Kukuchina, Dunagiri Mountain. Considered the birthplace of Kriya Yoga, the immortal Babaji initiated Lahiri Mahasaya into Kriya Yoga in 1861 here, as described in Paramahansa Yogananda’s “Autobiography of a Yogi.” This sacred pilgrimage site attracts Kriya Yogis from around the world.

KAUSANI, located about 60 km away, is known as the “Switzerland of India” due to its similarity in the landscape with the Swiss Alps and offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks.

JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK is a popular eco-tourism destination located 77 km away in the Nainital district. Spread across 520 square kilometres, the park is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the endangered Bengal tiger, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.

MUKTESWAR, situated 81 km from Ranikhet, is a three-hour drive away. Named after the 350-year-old Mukteshwer Dham Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is situated at the top of a mountain and provides breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayan range.

JAGESHWAR, situated about 85 km from Ranikhet, is counted among the 12 Jyotirlingas in the country and has a strong Buddhist influence visible in its carvings.
